Sales of Acura Cars in Numbers

Many people, particularly the fans of the Acura company are concerned with the fact that the sales of the concern are somewhat falling, as the expectations that the company sets are higher than the real numbers that they get. In fact it is not the notion of the falling demands for Acura car, but rather a fact that the company cannot asses the demand in the proper way and set what is a realistic number of cars to produce for the sales.

In this regard, the company decided to remove from the range of their cars the power unit of 4 cylinders and 2.0 capacity, leaving only the 2.4-liter “four”. Its power is 201 horsepower, but so far it is only available with a six-speed manual transmission. In the near future the company will issue a modification to the “automatic”, without which “Acura” can not achieve the desired level of sales.

“We expect to sell about 30,000 cars a year, but we are close to that of 22-24 thousand copies – said Mendel. – We have reached two-thirds of the planned amount, but sales are increasing every month, so we hope that we can catch up.” Last month, “Acura” managed to sell 2,108 copies in the United States of model ILX. For comparison, similar in size Buick Verano and Audi A4 for November have sold in 3574 and 3343 machines, respectively.
