Acura Introduces New Concept ILX Street Build With Aggressive Sound

The development of the cars is not standing in one place, it is constantly moving forward, and the famous companies as well. Not only the big and international car manufacturers are making concepts, but also relatively small ones, which are aimed at the luxury market are developing them as well. And this is what we are going to talk about in this article today. Japanese representative of the automobile industry in the face of Acura, presented an updated version of ILX. The presentation took place at this year’s Chicago Auto Show.

This time, at tuning show SEMA, the Acura experts brought an interesting development of the ILX model called “Street Build”. This is a new product, created and based on ILX supported by Evasive Motorsports. This new development is still a concept of the car and it is not sure, if it will go into serial production.

Concept ILX “Street Build” created on the basis of the car with a 6-speed transmission, and a package of PP (Premium Package). It includes a supercharger from the company CT Engineering and reprogrammed ECU. These improvements have increased the power characteristics of the four-cylinder 2.4-liter capacity of 201 hp to 250. In addition, a component of the project is to produce a system SP Elite Greddy. It allows to make the engine sound more aggressive.
