Test-Drive of Acura 3.2 TL – What You Will Feel

October 31, 2012 at 04:46

Acura 3.2 TL is based on the extended platform of sedan Honda Accord («American» Accord Chord is larger than those that are sold in Europe). Despite the fact that Acura is close in size to such vehicles as Mercedes E-Class or BMW 5-series, it looks something more modest and even more, so to say, ascetic. Some specialists say that this is because of the fact that this model has much less chrome.

The whole interior of the Acura 3.2 TL is done in the honorable gray. The instrument panel and center console is covered with graceful wave of a large canopy, which combines them into functional block for driving. The round shapes of the analog devices, each of which is sunk in individual niche, are reminiscent of the European Accord. Central to this is the large speedometer in kilometers and digitizing also in miles. Nice leather four spear wheels, and especially liked by fans – the lever of automatic transmission on an elegant chrome leg. The car moves in the slot with a small ornate “cubbyhole” provided for “manual” control transmission. But most of all fans liked the climate control unit at the top of the center console. Location of large rotating knobs add to the design perfectly! The same applies to the management of audio system with CD-player.
