Acura Had to Apologize For Its Super Bowl Advertising

We have been writing many articles about the introduction of new models, presentations of Acura cars on international car fairs, but still this is not all, what Acura company does. A great deal of resources time and money is spent on advertising campaigns.

Without doubt, our readers know perfectly, that marketing is what makes a good image of the product and can generate additional demand. Therefore, there is no surprise in the fact that Acura and Honda as a whole are always looking for the best advertising spots to run its commercials. Therefore, every big event is considered in details and the campaign is worked out for every second.

As one of the major events which have passed, which Acura used for its marketing ground was the Super Ball. In fact, Honda always buys spots for its cars to appear in that special time. However, there was a very sensitive moment, which came out lately. It appears, that there are proves that the advertising agency, which was shooting the ad actually was looking for a person, who could play a car dealer, which should be “Nice looking, friendly. Not too dark”. A great deal of embarrassment, but Acura did apologize for that incident.
