Acura Removes from Production the Crossover Coupe ZDX

The famous luxury brand of the Honda company – the Acura is quite famous for the rational decisions, which are made by their headquarters. There are different situations in the car business, because the car market is very difficult to follow and even more difficult it is to predict. Thus, there appear some times situations, when the company needs to call back certain models of the cars, which were on their production. The same happened with the Acura – they removed crossover coupe Acura ZDX from the production, and the details are here to follow in this article.

As a small look back we want to tell you, that back in 2009, Honda concern offered to the Americans a secured and unusual model – the crossover coupe Acura ZDX. Unfortunately, over the years, the car has not found success as it was predicted by the marketing department of the Acura Company, so the 2013 model year will be the last for the line ZDX.

Acura ZDX in 2011 took 4th place in the list of “least popular cars in the United States” –we should note that the company has sold just 1,564 cars. This year, during the first 7 months the Acura brand was able to realize only 642 copies. So Honda Motor has decided to “focus on key products of brand Acura», such as the Acura MDX SUV and the new sedan Acura RLX.
