Unfortunately, due to the heavy camouflage, the design of the third generation of crossover Acura RDX is a mystery. According to the vehicle contours we can assume that the model will receive smoother front panel with a small “beak” on top of the grille. Cuts in the headlight area hint at branded LED lights Jewel Eye, while the rear lights are located quite high.

The new RDX looks larger than its predecessor. Premium model will continue to share the platform with the crossover Honda CR-V, while the prototype pictures of this car also show an increased size of the machine. The engine range of Acura RDX is still a mystery. Presumably, the Acura may bring back the 4-cylinder turbocharged power plant; in this case it will be an upgraded 2.0-liter turbo engine. Also it has been reported about the power unit of the future Civic Si, and about the hybrid variant.
