Honda Wants to Sell to East Europe 12 Thousand Acura Cars a Year

As the year 2013 is going to be the time of the great expansion of the Acura brand, the mother company has already set up a plan for the selling of their cars in the Eastern Europe.

Two years from now, a subsidiary of Honda group known worldwide as the brand Acura will come to their official distributors in the Eastern part of Europe and mainly in Russia. In the first year of sales of luxury Japanese cars Honda does not expect a big profit. However, already in 2015, the brand hopes that the new market will buy 10-12 thousands of Acura models per year.

Official Acura car sales company Honda Motor Rus starts in 2014. “In the first year sales of Acura sales will be modest, but by 2015, the company plans to increase its sales to 10-12 thousand cars,” – said in an interview to “Horn” car magazine the president of Honda Motor Rus Hideo Masuda. He also noted that they could have come earlier to the new market, but the global financial crisis was the main stumbling point for them.
